I did it! I did it!

I did it! I posted my first few items on etsy! I am so excited. It feels awesome to be doing something instead of just talking about it. I put up 5 nook covers that I made and I hope that is only the beginning. :)


It was fun setting it all up. Now I just need to work on a banner and avatar and things. That is going to have to happen after I get back from my fabulous trip to PA! H and I are going to visit some friends. H is totally pumped to be riding on her first airplane. It is going to be a blast.

Today is my 5th Mother's Day. Pretty amazing, huh? Hard to believe. For me, anyways. We didn't do anything super special and it was wonderful. We always do too much. But on the crafty front I have been working on my nook covers and I'm really hoping to get a few done and up on etsy today. I about had a fit when we when to Barnes and Noble to get me a screen protector and there was a lady buying a cover right then! I wanted to spit I was so mad at myself. I need to get some cards going pronto! And get these covers up and running. I did another search today and it yielded 17 pages of results, but none like mine. So hopefully that is a good sign. All of the sellers had sold at least one cover, too, so I thought that was good. We'll have to see if people like the design I came up with. I like it and it seems to be working for me! :)

I'm going for it!

Well, I've decided to keep a record of my crafty pursuits. I am going to jump right in with two feet and see. It will be awfully nice to have a record of what I am crafting all in one place. I do have a feeling that my family is going to get into it a little too. They seem to get into everything else around here, so I doubt I can keep them out of this! Plus a lot of my crafts seem to be for the kids. We'll see how I do...
